Congratulations to the following teams for winning the WYSL Fall 2009 Sportsmanship Award

BU11 Jaguars
B13 Spartans
Or for being the Runner-Up
BU10 Fireballs
GU9 Hurricanes
GU10 Tornados
At each game the referee rates the sporting behavior of each team’s coaches, players and parents (-2 to +2 for each) and submits a score as part of their game report. Each team’s total score (-6 to +6) is totaled and averaged for the season to determine a winner and runner-up. These can be tracked on the WYSL team page.
These teams (players, coaches and parents) displayed the respect for the referee/opposition and positive coaching reinforcement that exemplifies positive sporting behavior.
Special congratulations to the

“Double Goal Coaching Award.”
This is awarded to a team that wins both the “Sportsmanship Award” and their Division.
