In-House Soccer

Posted by Derek Correia on Jul 28 2009 at 05:00PM PDT

The BYSC In-house program is a for-fun, non-competitive developmental program focused on skills, sportsmanship, team play and a knowledge of the game. As it is often the first organized sport a child plays, we are intent on making it a fun experience for children and their families. It is also intended to develop travel soccer aptitude, for those children who have the desire to transition to travel, which is more serious and more competitive.

SCHEDULE

CHECK BACK IN FEBRUARY FOR MORE INFORMATION ON THE SPRING SESSION DATES AND REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Due to insufficient numbers to run separate programs, the second and third graders were combined in both the coed and girls programs. System limitations prevent you from seeing entire rosters on the registration site (we apologize for this but it's a third party registration system).

Also, these same limitations prevent full roster views for children participating in both the midweek training clinic and a Sat. parent coached team.

Please note we did our best to accommodate all requests for team assignments, coaches and the like. As such, we are unable to process any requests to change teams at this point.

Please Contact BYSC if you have other questions or concerns.

 * We recognize that Saturday 9/19 is an important holiday (Rosh Hashanah) for many in our community. While we respect all religious observances, the board has elected to facilitate recreational soccer for those not observing the holiday. Due to a late falling Labor Day, the season is already only nine weeks vs. the usual ten. We made this choice due to the limited number of weeks, the recreational nature of the in-house program (children observing are not missing a league game), and after consulting with various soccer and youth sports programs around the area, the region and the U.S.
